We will be having our first sign-ups for our fall season at closing day Saturday, May 10 at Cal Oaks Sports Park. Sign up times will be from 10:00am until the start of closing ceremonies or noon. Sign ups will be held in front of Field #2 across from the pool. Check this web site for upcoming sign-up dates and for the start of online registration.
Closing Day information:
8U, 10U, 12U and Upper divisions all have games on Sat., May 10th. As such, we really do not know when the Closing Ceremonies will begin.
If NO "if necessary" games have to be played, then we plan on beginning around 11:30AM. Should we have even one "if necessary" game then we will begin about 1PM.
As in the past, ALL T-ball participants will receive a trophy. All-Stars are announced, 1st & 2nd place trophies will be awarded for season standings & tournaments for 8, 10, 12 & Uppers.
We will have a DJ there for announcing only, Carl's Hawaiian shaved ice (full-cart) and Mike's Action Photography will be there for parents to purchase action pics taken of their kids.
IMPORTANT
All team personnel who have not received their ASA/Background cards, please see Jennie at the MVGSA booth on Closing Day to receive them. Remember, these cards are good for the entire year. Coaches, assistant coaches, team parents or anyone else associated with any ALL-STAR team, MUST have one of these cards and they MUST be displayed during tournament play...these are ASA Regulations.
Congratulations to all the 2008 spring division winners!
Good luck to all teams in the tournament.

Thanks to Brian and Ron for holding the pitchers and catcher clinic! We hope all the girls had fun and learned something in the process. |
We encourage all players to attend this clinic for some extra hitting. Coach Felton will be teaching the fundamentals of hitting to beginners as well as giving more experienced girls a chance to get some extra swings. |
